Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield
Staring at this blank page… inside
Looking out the dirty window you gave me… in life
No longer can you put words in… my life
For the rest has been re-written for… my plight
I watch the sun shinning… so bright
It now feels my heart with oh!… such delight
Memories of yesterdays, my heart just wants to… take flight
Escaping the fear of… unhappy plights
Looking back at those blank pages before… my eyes
No one else can feel my pain you left me…in life
Those words you left unspoken to me…just sigh
The hurt you gave to this heart… of mine
Too many years loved as… your wife
To fill these pages of what you did to… my life
Forsake not, a true love in… your life
Longer days are now within… your sight
Years of loneliness is whats left… to fight
Growing old together was not meant for you… in spite
Of love given too many years of… my life
Your book is still unwritten …in site
Goodbye my first love… in life
I’ve filled those empty pages you left in… this life
Hate I cannot feel… in spite
I pray that you too, will find… the light
Forever re-written is my book… of life

This poem makes me remember I have been there too. Memories will stay just to let us know we learned a lesson, life sometimes make hard to understand.
Very well written! Love it!
